This gallery presents Quebec region landscapes. D.G.Coupal has a long history painting on the shores of Montreal Island, directly from nature, looking at the rushing Lachine Rapids. Landscapes were also produced during excursions to the Eastern Townships,around Knowlton and Magog, as well as north of the St.Lawrence to Bic Park. D.G.Coupal has been attracted to the rougher terrain as opposed to the more picturesque, flowery locations of Quebec.
